Need info for two prestige classes! [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-14-07, 05:03 PM Yo! I'm hosting a Oriental Adventures campaign and one girl in our group wants to play a Princess Mononoke type female PC! She's looking to be a Barbarian/Ranger/some sort of wolf riding related Prestige class/some sort of Spear Maiden prestige class.

I think I've found the wolf riding thing in the form of the Battle Maiden Prestige Class but it doesn't say wheather or not she can use a giant wolf for it or not.

Even if she can where would I find the stats for a Oriental Adventures campaign version of a large sized talking wolf with two tails (I believe the tails make it a spirit creature of some kind)? There's also the problem of a Spear Maiden prestige class.

Where in the world can I find something like that? Can anyone help me on this? If so, please do and thanks in advance for any help!

There's also the problem of a Spear Maiden prestige class. Just use the weapon master and focus on the spear.

You just have to look at whats available and open your imagination and not expect to find specific classes that are specifically designed and called what you're looking for.

Wow, I never saw that before, that will finally allow for a truckload of concepts I always wanted to stat up but didn't want to throw on random druid or ranger levels just for the sake of having an animal companion, and didn't want to just DM fiat them having one.

I was searching for the Wild Cohort feat just today when I stumbled across that page.

It just amazing what the search feature can find.

05-22-07, 02:44 PM Instead of Weapon Master, perhaps another mounted combat class could work. I'm AFB at the moment, but would there be an overlap between the Battle Maiden abilities and those of the Wild Plains Outrider (CAdv) or the Cavalier (CWar).

Speaking of which, even wolf lord (Animal Lord, CAdv) could be an interesting concept, and would tie in with the natural/spiritist theme.
