I was once horribly addicted to the Prince of Qin PC game & love the period pieces about the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, so this will probably be put into the budget for next paycheck. Now if only Green Ronin would finally release Dragon Fist. |
| ZenZ02-22-07, 10:11 AM | I too dream of Dragon Fist... Of course I worry that it will be created using d20 Mutants and Masterminds or True 20. I'm reading the rules for Qin right now. Very simple and yet unique. Of course that was how I looked at World of Darkness before I tried to run a campaign. Some times simple is not a good thing. But as a resource book this looks pretty nice! |

Thank you for the heads up on this. I'd like to ask you how accurate is the source material in presenting facts about China during the warring States period--does this deserve to go on my self next to my copy of the Sengoku RPG? |

Qin is a very good book, really... and the translation of the fiction is as good as a short story written by professionals. It really is a good book. On Dragon Fist... with Chris Pramas leaving green ronin for videogames  we will surely not see it in this life... want to play DF? use the original, sadly :weep: |
| narukagami02-24-07, 12:52 PM | I'll have to give it a read, it looks interesting enough. does this deserve to go on my self next to my copy of the Sengoku RPG? Speaking of, weren't they going to come out with a d20 version at some point? I don't remember where, but I remember reading that somewhere... |
| Ranger REG02-24-07, 08:40 PM | There won't be a Sengoku d20 but there will be conversion notes. They planned to release Sengoku under the Action! System logo, which will also use the Open Gaming License (not just for the conversion notes but for their ruleset as well). |
