In case you have seen Shigurui http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shigurui, what would your version of shooting star as a feat and of kogan ryu as samurai feat collection/school be like. For me, Kogan Ryu and Shooting Star Chain would certainly include improved unarmed strike, improved initiative, quick draw, superior unarmed strike, stunning fist, skill focus (iaijutsu focus) and perhaps a custom made feat that would enable the character to make potentialy lethal blows (like quivering palm) and would require him to possess improved unarmed strike, superior unarmed strike, improved initiative and stunning fist (perhaps working only on flat footed opponents).
