| NMC08-23-07, 11:27 PM | People have already concluded that WotC has no intention to support Oriental Adventures, at least for the forseeable future. I have also heard, however, that they will let people "publish" material on their forums. With this in mind, I'd like to know: What kinds of OA material for 4E would people like to see? -Nate |

Whatever happened to the days of solid setting line-ups. Like in the early 90s. We had FR, Ravenloft, Dragonlance, Kara-tur, Al-Qadim, Darksun, Spelljammer, etc. Now, young players have no modules or settings to model their campaigns after. I have to say, having played with some of these new post tsr gamers, I think it really shapes their creativity in a bad way. |

| Lazlo_Toth08-24-07, 10:50 PM | Updates/upgrades for our favorite settings... New/expanded settings... New Base Classes/new prestige classes New/updated monsters If WOTC doesn't support OA in 4E, I don't need them to. I can create/convert material as I need. I made a huge book of prestige classes for 3e Rokugan, if I can do that, 4E upgrades/conversions can't be so hard. There is a lot of talent here. just because it ain't official mean it can't be good quality and look good. |
| CaptKillern08-24-07, 10:52 PM | Well I like New classes and new feats and new PRC's but... What I would really like to see is articles on how the culture is different in each location. What foods do they eat, what clothes do they wear? What are the differences in those aspects between the wealthy and the poor. What holidays to they celebrate? What are their religious customs. Show me a day in the life of an average person... I really liked the "Day in the life of" stories in the Races of books. They were small but set the mood for the rest of the article. I would like something like that for the cultures presented in OA. Mayb even 2 such articles, one for poor the other rich... I also like the shows on the travel channel. "No reservations" and "Bizarre foods". If the culture hunts and eats baby Trolls, I want to know, and something that exotic would help my players feel imersed in the setting.
