If you want to use the Lycanthrope template from the MM, just use that and for the Fox stats look at the Hengeyokai animal forms. Edit: Hengeyokai were updated to 3.5 in Dragon Magazine (don't recall which issue though). They are now of the Humanoid type with the (Shapechanger) subtype and have an LA of +0 IIRC. Hope this helps, Bowen |

As for a werefox being part of Asian myth, I don't recall hearing any legends about people forcibly transforming into foxes during full moons because they caught a magical curse/disease. Anyway, I'm not a fan of the idea of Kitsune being allowed as PC races, but that could just be my bias due to the fact I portray them as they are in classical myth and not the modern anime and furry interpretation. :P Otherwise, as said Fortunes and Winds has rules for kitsune and other shapshifting animals of lore. Creatures of Rokugan has stats for them as well. There is also this other book I heard about called "Kitsune Mori" (I believe) that uses them as a PC race. |
| Kineon_War01-14-08, 08:19 AM | I don't want them for PCs, I'm looking for the monster to attack the PCs with. :) I completely agree with you about them not being "Lycanthropes". |
