I am running a (now epic) DnD/D20modern/D20future/Starwars / abberant, adventuretrinity my player roster consists of

a half dragon barbarian lvl 14 frenzied bezerker lvl 10

a Samurai mech pilot (Complete warrior and d20 future + future tech)

a Jedi knight (star wars core book) (modified the hitpoints and force use)

A cowboy mutant from a post apocalyptic world daredevil (adventure, modern, d20 apocalypse d20 future)

a deadpoolesk (useing abberant) shadow dancer fast hero soldier

a paladin lvl 6 blackgaurd 10 cavelier 10 death knight (mm2 dmg complete
warrior phb)

a egyptian good aligned lich cleric mage true necromancer whom worships osiris (libros mortis, DND PHB Dieties and demigods)

a dragon blood line (draconic heritage:gold) sorcerer (the only straight class character i have)

a vampire based on (name escapes me) that woman in history that was thought to be an actual vapire and tortured young girls (yeah i know...)

My main NPC was a warrior technosavant wizard spell sword thats right powered armor magically enhanced as well as his weapons being ridicoulous suchs as his dancing vorpal vibroblade

this game spans worlds and dimensions the've been from hell to the heavens from medeval to super future and fought everything from mechs to tarrasque i started them all at lvl 10 and they have raised to an average of 26 and still going strong.
I have probably used almost every book in my collection at some poit or another which includes almost every 3.5 hardback published for DND, Trinity D20 cores, All modern and future books including the soft back supplements, and ofcourse starwars core

if that doesn't inspire you to take full advantage of all your books then i give up but its been a very succesful game it has to be very player centered and alter rules for somethimes to make them work level adjustments are a good ideal for things like adventure templates and ridiculous high levels of technology (i did +1 for every pl above 6) there is some really weird combinations you get of spells and magic combined wit technology which can be hard to deal with but hey just remmber you can do it too

anyways hope this inspired someone to run a game

This reminds me of Urza's Hot Tub

Who would you say has the strongest character? On pure speculation, I'm thinking an epic level Jedi Knight, mixing fantasy setting magic items with futuristic technology, would be the best all around character.

I'm thinking the weakest would be the lich cleric mage under the grounds that he'd lose too many high level spells to compete in epic level encounters.

I had one campaign that went epic levels, and we stopped it because it took too long for the DM to setup and play. Does fighting something take forever with so many people and so high levels?

your assimation about the lich is pretty dead on (unintentional pun) although he is really hard to kill ofcourse and he has a good vaiety of spells but in a 1 on 1 i think hes on the bottom of the totem pole
as far as the strongst it would be between the half dragon barbarian (he cranks out about 300 damage with power attack and has 400 hp) but i had a arena battle between em all and the sorcerer came out on top mostly because time stop and meteor swarm are devestating and the figther types couldn't thouch him with spells like wall of force in place. the situation comes up very rarely for one of the characters to go outside there genre for weapons and tecnology the jedi has yet to take advantage of magic and such and jedi powers in the star wars system don't compare much to dnd magic. the only one that has mixed up is the cowboy who has a cybernetic eye and magic bullets and the deadpool character who ues a magic sword and is leveling in shadow dancer
although the half dragon has plans to become the epic clas dreadnaught i think that will make him hands down the toughest.

combat isn't to bad for most characters its the ones with like 10 attacks that slow down a bit and the casters with all there d6's everyones damage has gone up so they can do enough damage to keep combat short.(challeneges are easy to throw up i a running out recently so im useing templates and increaseing hit die)

You mean Elizabeth Bathory? Bathed in the blood of virgins etc. :lop: :mymy:

So, these guys... they meet in a tavern over ale? :P Just kidding. Good on ya, pulling all that together. Sounds very interesting.

Is it all d20?
Do you find that any of the systems you use produce comparatively stronger characters than the others?
Is magic (i.e. D&D based), tech or something else the strongest force in your game?
And, lastly, how smoothly does it all gel together?

yes that is the one elizabeth

the way they meet was the most technologically advanced char (deadpol guy) culture had a prophecy about 6 mystic gems his culture also studied other worlds (useing the class from d20 future i forget the name) one of there employees decided to go after these gems after recovering one of them and gaining a impressive increas of power. the prophecy said that cetain individuals would stop him so they sent a second person to recruit them and stop the guy who was taking full advatage of technology magic and anything else he could get his hands on (i started them all at level 10 so they were already established heros)

yeah all d20 well dnd tends to have stronger chars but that is made up by the technology of the modern and future ones i had to put level adjustments on some of them like the aventure character because currently it gain a bunch of stuff in addition to standard leveling for free
i basically ahd to make the challeneges taking all the characters into consideration but it worked out well
o and the strongets force is magic unless you get to the Pl9 technology age where they have 50 foot mechas with ultratitanium hides and particle accelerator weapons and singularity cannons but a good mage can still win out with the right spells and providing he doesn't die

the gems are based on the infinity gauntlet in marvel
