I am considering adding Weapon Focus (Ray) to the list of Weapon Focus feats that an Elf Paragon can pick up at second level.

Anyone see any major balance issues with this?

Ray? I don't know, I have not heard anything of elves being better warmages than others. I would give the paragon proficiency with all racial weapons (thinblades, courtblades, etc in the case of elven paragons) and add them to the list to take weapon focus with.

Honestly, when I read the post, my first reaction was surprise that it wasn't on the list in the first place.

I would allow it.

Multiple exotic weapons that are improved versions of similar martial weapons... I don't think it's overpowering on it's own, but it is generous.

But elves are (usually) dexterous. They are going to have a better ranged touch than others, so they kind of already have it... but their favored class (base race) is wizard, so there is something that supposedly makes them favor wizard as a profession (but really there is no mechanical reason for that...) ... so I don't see a problem with it.

If you want. I tend to think of them as the archetypal fighter-mages, though - as skilled with bow and blade as they are with spells.
