My DM is going to let me take a lawful class without being lawful.... to make a long story short my master of nine/fighter is trying to train a samurai/sword sage into a master of nine in order to "discover" other forgotten martial styles blah blah blah.... my DM said that because I did this he would allow me to take one of the Samurai prestige classes... we are playing gestalt... I want to take sword master for the max damage all the time but I am or was at least a chaotic neutral character...Dm rulled if I become true neutral I could take the class what if ne are the written rules about this cause I am a newb and really dont know.. just curious?

You can't by the rules join if wrong alignment. It is a requiremernt to be a Prc class (not to stay one unless the class has a Ex-clas clause).

The DM is houseruling to be nice assuming you are wrong alignment.

thats what I thought see Maybe I can adopt Bushido While I train the samurai... and level in the class for a few levels or something.. I am already my own master so bushido would still be pretty veg on what I can and cannot do as a lawful neutral character so that might be fun for RP purposes...thanks
