ZocckCastlestorm 03-14-07, 10:40 AM	Hi, I looked at Dungeonscape and was disappointed that there were no Arcane Caster Dungeon Specialist PrC's! Does anyone have one? I am looking for a PrC that grants Darkvision and maybe a few different skill selections (Like Climb,Jump,Survival,Swim in any combo) at the loss of a few other Knowledge Skills. A Full Caster set up wopuld be best, so a loss of 0-2 Caster Levels is my goal. If nobody has anything like this already, then let's get together and build it! Thanks.
The_Shaman 03-14-07, 07:08 PM	Well, darkvision is a lvl 2 spell, after all, so by then you might as well have an item that gives it to you.. As for dungeon-friendly skills, imo the beguiler, with a lot of skill points and some useful skills (and trapfinding) may be good for you if you want a base class. If not, perhaps it might be worth it putting a level or two in rogue and then going into daggerspell mage. You get a good amount of skill points, most of the skills you want, 9/10 spellcasting, and a few decent fight-related goodies. You can round out the progression with arcane trickster, if you need a few more levels, but DM should be good enough for a while. Aside from that, the shadowcrafter/shadocraft mage could be handy, and afaik the arachnomancer from Underdark had some useful skills for hardcore dungeon delving.
