So, anyone done an Archivist prestige class on here? Nope, but do you think that you could houserule it to be boosted by any class with something like lore? |
| Bladenite7805-24-07, 07:40 AM | That might work, any idea which prestige classes give that ability off hand? I know the Loremaster, various Harper classes in Forgotten Realms and probably a few that continue the Bardic Knowledge, any more anyone know of? |
| Khatoblepas05-24-07, 12:49 PM | Home made archivist classes, eh? There's one I've always wanted to see: An Archivist/Truenamer combo. You'd think with all the lore and esoteric knowledge floating around that these two would be a match made in heaven. Progress lore/truenaming and some spellcasting? If I had Tome of Magic, I'd do it, if it hadn't already been done. |
| The_Shaman05-24-07, 03:28 PM | Off the top of my head... it was typical for the Harper classes from PGtF / Magic of Faerun. The harper agent might work if you don't mind losing` casting level. I "think" the harper priest had it, but it could choose special abilities based on level+wis, not level + int. Harper paragon... er, if you don't mind being exalted, it could work. |
