The Epic Classes are so tiring and few Trying find out if there has been consideration for another epic handbook.

Honestly, and I could be very wrong in this, I don't think there is a big enough demand for more Epic Level PrC's. Little to no demand means little to no supply. If I am wrong though, hopefully this thread will answer that and bring this situation to the people who make the decisions.

Don't hold your breathe, wizards seems to hate epic levels. We havn't gotten a 3.5 elh, and worse even is more and more books have no mention at all of epic levels, tome of magic, tome of battle, complete mage and scoundrel, the words epic don't even appear once.

On the positive note for you Epic lovers there is some DM guidelines for epic magic items in the Magic Item Compendium.

There root cause, I think, are a few systemic problems that WotC needs to address.
The Epic magic system screwed the pooch so badly that it'll probably take a complete replacement to fix, and that's likely to wait for 4.0 rule changes. So no new Epic casting classes.
Some base classes just don't scale up very well at Epic levels. Obvious examples: Fighters tends to lag behind casters (though Tome of Battle helps that some), Monks fail to improve at Epic levels, and Rogues need more flexible Use Magic Device rules to compete. If all the core classes don't work at Epic levels, there's less likelihood of new Epic-specific classes being created.
There are so very many options available at high levels that few DMs can keep on top of everything that's available to players. As a result, most campaigns generally fall apart by 12th level. There won't ever be a fix for this with the Hasbro mandate of continual publishing for profitability. The increasing difficulty of getting most PCs all the way to Epic levels means a decreased demand for new Epic prestige classes.

I haven't seen any problems with getting groups past lvl 12 we've got games from lvl 15, 17, 25 going not having any problems that everyone is talking about. I think alot of the problems that people bring up are more fears than anything else.

The magic system in epic is broken there is a whole thread about it.

a Ftg 20/Wiz 20 had more attacks than Wiz 20/ Ftg 20:confused:

Most of the epic feats didn't amount to much.
