Say I've got a Sor 1/Wiz 15/Archmage 5.

I know the "+1 level of existing arcane spellcasting class" would only apply to the Wizard levels (since that's the arcane spellcasting class that met the prereqs for the PrC), but what about the High Arcana abilities?

Can he use Sor spell slots to fling Arcane Fire?
Use Arcane Reach on his Sor spells? Use Mastery of Elements or Mastery of Shaping to alter the Burning Hands or Shocking Grasp he casts as a Sorcerer?
Would Spell Power affect his Sor caster level?

Can he use Sor spell slots to fling Arcane Fire? You could use a sorcerer slot... but then you would have sacrificed a permanent wizard slot to sacrifice a permanent first level sorcerer slot to get a 1d6 arcane fire... since if I remember correctly the damage is based upon the spell slot sacrificed.
Use Arcane Reach on his Sor spells? Use Mastery of Elements or Mastery of Shaping to alter the Burning Hands or Shocking Grasp he casts as a Sorcerer?I would say that unless the abilities specifically state that they affect only one class, then yes, the benefit could apply to both... I personally think it would be alright to apply the affects to both sets of spells. The sorcerer spells will be significantly weaker anyway.
Would Spell Power affect his Sor caster level?I would say it is one or the other... not both. But unless this is an optimized wizard, I really don't think it would be unbalancing to apply spell power to both sides...

...But I could be wrong. *shrug*

The +1 existing caster lvl applies to either one not just the one that makes the pre's for the class.

I think you would have to pick one of the classes that the +1 Caster would affect.
