argent savant confusion [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-27-07, 04:33 PM in the argent savant PrC there is a special ability Ablate force, that states that the argent savant may subtract her class level from force damage taken.
Is that number just her argent savant levels or class levels altogether, I figured just argent savant levels, but when someone asked me I wasnt sure how to answer.

Single class = class levels
total classes = character level

So if your a Wizard 6, argent savant 5, Incantantrix 4, Abjurent Champion 5

You would have class levels of 6, 5, 4, 4
and a character level of 20
