Does anyone know of any PrC's for an Artificer.

Artificers don't need PrCs. They are one of the strongest classes in the game. Just get all your party members to give you a substantial share of the gold, so that way you have a strong financial base to work from.

Thats all I can think of, off hand.

I've heard of a PrC called Cannith Wand Adept, but I'm not very sure just what it does... Presumably use wands better :) .

Thing is there aren't any artificer PRCs that advance craft reserve. And if they did they'd probably be Planar Shepherd like. Doesn't matter though as you'd have to actually try very hard to not be pure awesome as one. :P

Thanks for the replies. Didn't think that there were any PrC for the Artificer. At the moment it a Warforged with Warlock 11/Hellfire Warlock 3/Artificer 1 should be interesting.

Why the Artificer dip? O.o It won't be a dip, and I haven't played one yet. The Warlock sort of slows down abit at this level and I thought that a Warlock Artificer would be interesting. :D

Well unlike most classes, it's both actually worth taking all the way to 20 and you aren't better off just taking 1-a few levels and moving on.

Also, doesn't Warlock get an item crafting thing at 12?

Unbound scroll can be quite nice.

My Rat-a-tat PrC (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?p=12661977#post12661977) might go with the Artificer.

I've been looking around for an Artificer Prestige Class as well, but I've only recently gotten the Eberron books, haven't had a chance to read them all and I don't own them all. Anyhow, all I've found is the Cannith Wand Adept, which is a 3PrC in Sharn: City of Towers (which I've only started, but it's really good). I always forget what I'm legally allowed to say about PrCs, but I'll try to break it down.

d8 hit die, 3/4 BAB, strong will (for three levels)
You need 6 ranks in Spellcraft and 8 in UMD, and Craft Wand, Wand Mastery as well as Favored in House(Cannith). There is a feat you can get instead of Favored in House, that's much better, but you can't get it with the Warforged.

Cannith Wand Adepts can identify which spell is housed in a wand (high DC Spellcraft check); really cranks up the power of wands (by a LOT, if you take this PrC, then you'll probably give up on Eldritch Blast); you can Quick Draw wands; two weapon fight with wands; then there are a couple feats that you'll probably only like in an Eberron campaign.

I'm sincerely considering this PrC because my character doesn't really have very many offensive spells available to him outside of wands. I think it's more than worth it, the only tricky prerequisite for my character is Wand Mastery because I'm not a fan of that feat. But I have a Mark of Making, so I don't need Favored in House.

Someone needs to make a new PrC for the Artifier something like partners in crime a class that boosts the ability of artifiers to work with warforge... actaully that might be fun to try

I like it, for a kind of Old West gunslinger feel, only with little sticks instead of .45's.

The prerequisites for fleshwarper are open enough for an artificer to get in easily. It's in Heroes of Horror... I think. I had a buddy that got excited at the idea of an artificer/frankenstein type character...

After looking at the Wand Adept, then looking through Complete Arcane, I decided you could probably duplicate the class with the wand feats.

i was at one time designing a PRC for an artificer called " Golem Master " that did continue advancing the craft reserve and gave alot of fancy bonus's to artficer specfically for creating golems and making those golems really strong. I however stopped going to the group i played with, and never did get around to creating it, seeing lack of Prc's maybe i can take a crack at it. But they are right artificer is plain bad ass i recall group telling me artificer was lame when i first started. By level 10 were donating so much to me i could make anything i wanted ^^.
