Other than Rouge, of course, since that's probably one of the best intros for most of the classes in that book. For those of you who don;t know it, the prereqs for it are listed below. Alignment: Any nongood BAB: +5 Skills: Hide 4 ranks, Intimidate 6 ranks, Move Silently 4 ranks Special: Must have been tragically wronged in some manner |
| bkdubs12311-08-07, 04:29 PM | Ranger 5. Rogue 3/Ranger 3. Even Swashbuckler 3/Rogue 3 would be pretty good. |
| Wih11-08-07, 08:54 PM | Ninja. It's big thing is that anything afraid of him he can Sudden Strike. |
| bkdubs12311-08-07, 09:05 PM | Huh. Well, well. It actually advances Sudden Strike. Ninja could be pretty sweet then especially with Dread Blade kicking in at 4th level. Its just another Ghost-Faced Killer, but whatever. It makes Ghost-Faced Killer even better. |
| SpudMaster11-08-07, 09:21 PM | Definetly ninja, investin a spiked chain and cleave. you go invisibile you sneak in do your cleave mind you you started the round invisible so everyone is flatfooted when you appear ( except those shifty barbarians and rogues) you do some crazy damage (everyone is shaken and now there ac is even worse) optimaly if your in a gaggle of mobs you are clearing everything within 10 ft ( spiked chain is a reach and regular range weopon). its worked for me for clearin groups it didnt hurt that I was evil and If the mission was assasinate someone I would happily include his nearby friends and familiy . I figure why waste a cleave. |

| 1 ton ghost11-09-07, 01:49 PM | i used the Ghost Faced Killer/AvgExec build... omg, it was so terribly effective, only the necropolitan was safe given it's immunity to mental compulsions, fear, and the like. Hexblade, or any Cha savvy start is respectable for this. this is especially nice when you have the Dark Companion (Su) variant to the Familar (highly recommended) as it will slag there Save vs. Fear, and of course, you can augment that w/ the Hexblade Curse. -4 Save or die. very deadly. i wanted him to be built w/ more melee and as few scoundrel types as possible to get as high a BAB as possible. to this end, i employed Guerilla Scout (or Warrior, can't recall which) from Heroes of Battle; let's you dump into stealth skills w/out x-classing basically, though there's an odd provision. |
| bkdubs12311-09-07, 02:06 PM | Hmm, I like the Hexblade entry, very intriguing, and of course you grab Dark Companion, its the only thing that makes a Hexblade worth playing (I did a Net/Trident Hexblade once. Talk about a curse, how d'you like being cursed, sitting next to a Dark Companion and being entangled by a net?). |
