| Daydreamer03-01-07, 04:57 PM | IF i am say a 8th level paladin and i decide to take a prestige class level in, oh lets say duelist. I have now taken a level in another class from paladin, does this mean i can no longer take paladin levels? Or do prestige classes somehow rank as an exception to this general rule, which would be the case if i dueled into say a wizard. |

| HermitIX03-01-07, 05:03 PM | A paladin who takes a level in duelist can no longer continue gaining paladin levels. There are prestige classes that will let you freely multi class with paladin. They will say so; I think as a class feature. |
