| Ithamar11-01-07, 04:04 PM | Can someone correct me if I'm wrong on this: Bear Warrior (Complete Warrior, pg. 16) can transform into a bear while in a rage "similar to the polymorph (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/polymorph.htm) spell". From PHB II, pg. 96, the [Polymorph] subschool now indicates that the character uses the new form's BAB and Base Saves. So a Barbarian 7 / Bear Warrior 1, BAB +8, Base Saves of +7 / +2 / +2 rages and becomes a black bear (3 HD). In doing so his BAB drops to +2 and his Base Saves become +3 / +3 / +1. If that is the case, why would anyone ever, no matter how stupid, take the Bear Warrior class? But if I'm wrong on this, please let me know. Thanks! |
