| Prime36109-27-07, 11:00 PM | Build: Cleric 1/Druid 4/Beastmaster 10 Question: As I have read my companions' abilities are taken from my druid+beastmaster+3 for the first one. The second one is at -3 but is that from the original calculation or is that just going to be the druid/beastmaster level -3? I guess the question is, does the penalty for the second companion negate the bonus, or is the bonus only applicable to the first companion? Option 1 Level Druid BM Bonus Total level 6 4 + 1 + 3 = 8 9 4 + 4 - 3 = 5, 11 12 4 + 7 - 6 = 5, 8, 14 15 4 + 10 - 9 = 5, 8, 11, 17 Option 2 Level Druid BM Bonus Total level 6 4 + 1 + 3 = 8 9 4 + 4 + 0 = 8, 11 12 4 + 7 - 3 = 8, 11, 14 15 4 + 10 - 6 = 8, 11, 14, 17 In the first chart the +3 is only applied to the first companion, the second applies it to all of them. Note: Either way it works I think that Natural bond taken for the latter companions will help their power level. |

It is just Beastmaster level -3, -6, -9. That +3 bonus is only applied to your first animal companion as well as your Druid levels. Basically, this class gives you one really good animal companion, and several weaker ones. |
