I am wanting to know what the best Prc for my character would be?
Half-Ogre Fighter
Str-22
Dex-13
Con-17
Int-13
Wis-14
Cha-13

I think i have convinced my DM to let me use the LA buy-off in the UA book, so with that in mind, I am wanting to be a "gentle giant" So no rage or frenzy abilities.

I was thinking about going Warhulk, but I have sinced decided that losing the BAB would be bad, especially since several of the feats I have seen in the Netbook of Feats are ones I want.(Savage Critical, Weapon Mastery,Giant Step, Greatweapon Quickness,...) So tell me what you think? Straigh up fighter or is there a Prc that would be better for a gentle giant?

Straight Fighter can be fun. Hulking Hurler is a good way to go if your into thrown stuff. If you want to stay melee, then Exotic Weapon Master (or plain Weapon Master) can be good ways to go.

What's the character's alignment and favorite weapon? Fighting Style?

Trip/Disarm will be good, as you are large

It seems a character I'm making right now is exactly like what you're describing. A gentle half giant is what I'm busy playing right now. I decided a monk was the best way to go as far as a standard class goes, and grappling is his method of choice. However, I'm not sure whether to go into reaping mauler, or to go in a completely different direction and choose levels of Drunken Master. So my suggestion would be either one of those. However, Hulking Hurler is not a bad choice either.

If I may go off topic and ask, what do have for a background on this fellow? I chose a storyline revolving around enslaving sorcerers, but to be honest it felt like I was building a template straight out of the book.

1. I am Chaotic Good.

2. My mother was raped when a group of Orcs and Ogres raided our village, killed my mothers’ husband, and raped her to produce me. She was saved by a Bladesinger adventurer who was heading to Neverwinter. He protected my mother and was able to arrange her schooling and a job as a transcriptionist. I learned how to fight by his teachings, and I also had the job of running the transcripts to my mother and back to the temple of Tymora. My mother taught me to read and write, but I was never able to learn the temples teachings(becoming an acolyte). The Bladesinger was still a traveler but he would stop by and visit/train me.

So, what are you thoughts??

Ohh yeah.....forgot to add this. His favorite weapon is a Giant Great-sword. I dont remember if that is the proper name but us a great-sword for a large sized creature(3d6). He mostly focuses on being able to take out the enemies quickly and accuratly. I dont power attack very often, and I also work on keeping my allies from being flanked(it helps since I take up a 2x2 square).

Hope that helps!

Well if you like flanking i have an idea (instead of blocking bad guys from flanking you) ...

Beast Heart Adept (which is found in dungeonscape and its devoted to gaining monsterous companions). Why? Full base attack progression, two good saves, an additional +2 to attack and damage on flanked bad guys. and from your story it has some logic as well. for exemple you come across a wounded worg, and in stead of killing it you decide to nurse it back to health. the worg being impressed by your actions decides to join you, bam first animal companion.

ok, if thats not a go, is your character religious? perhaps pious templar is worth a look (complete divine). how does your character feel about shadow? i can think of a class that can basicly reach into shadows and craft wepons and such for a short time out of it (its found in Tome of Magic the shadow section). another idea is to go into the knight base class (player's handbook 2)... unfortinaly that requires a lawful alignment but is the best "party protector" out there IMO.

If you can use psionics warmind could be fun, particularly because it lets you use expansion which can make you huge and eventually gargantuan

why not make an item that constantly "expansion"s him

why not make an item that constantly "expansion"s him

That could work as well but it doesn't help lead to a PrC choice which is what was being looked for, also I have no idea if the OP's DM would let him use custom items, nor am I particularly able to make such items so I simply contributed as best I could

i'd say straight fighter or... if you wanna chuck things... the hulking hurler.

Weapon Master is always nice, I guess. The link to a temple could be used as indication to a PrC, but I don't see the character as a Sacred Templar of Tymora :) . Holy Liberator could work, though - if you want to build on that. Warmind could also be great but it is, alas, for non-chaotics. Still, a few levels in Psychic warrior could be quite useful imo if the DM allows you to go into psionics. Kensai could also work if your DM takes away the alignment restriction.
