Just started playing a paladin (as me and my friends died fighting some extreemly overpowered Bebliths). I poked around in my books for while, and found me a nice Prestige class: The Cavalier.

The problem is that the book I'm using for him is based upon 3.0 rules. His 6th level ability is to make an attack as a standard action instead of as a partial action, when his mount moves more than 5 feet. This would be rather nice with the 3.0 rules, but as far as I know there is no such thing as a "partial action" in 3.5:mad:

So, the question(s) are:
1.Is there any updated book containing rules for the Cavalier according to 3.5 edition?
2. If not, any ideas on how to convert this ability to something similar working with 3.5?

Would appreciate every suggestion, as the Cavalier is a really nice prestige class.
Thanks for your time

Edit:
Nevermind. Found the same class in Complete Warrior, with updated skills and so forth. (grins wickedly as he reads about deadly and unstoppable charge, the reduced requirements and that paladin/cavalier level stack for determining the special ablities)

don't you find it unusual that there is no alignment requirement? that is to say, it's pretty damn close in flavor to Knight (PHBII) whom are decidedly Lawful. even their example archetype Cav is Chaotic.

At least in CW, you need to be lawful, so there IS a alignment requ...
