| Quidam09-19-07, 01:28 PM | I saw someone mention in a warlock thread that their DM allowed a houserule in which the Arcane Focus granted by the Chameleon PrC, instead of allowing spells to be prepared as a wizard, adds +1 to an existing spellcasting class, as many other prestige classes do. I'm curious as to others' opinions of this change, insofar as balance goes. As my warlock has no Int or Wis to speak of, as written he'd very likely simply stay in Combat Focus all the time, but the prospect of that houserule intrigues me... |
| MaverickWolf09-19-07, 06:46 PM | I've played with this rule, and found it to not be a problem (and I was a Warlock also). However, I didn't even take the class until 13th level (I wanted Imbue Item first, so I can be a really good Item Creator during downtime, and have something useful any other time), so I'm not sure how it would handle at lower levels. |
