Clarification about the wording of the CoCL Prereqs [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-30-07, 11:42 AM In the Prereqs of the CoCL presitge class there are listed several feats in the usual Feats: xxx manner, but also there is listed:

Special: In addition to the feats above, you must also
take either Weapon Focus (longsword) or Exotic Weapon
Proficiency (elven thinblade or elven courtblade).

So whats the difference between the feats required for entry in the feats column and the feat listed in the Special one?

Could you take it and then change it with the Warblades Weapon Aptitude?
Or are you supposed to take it anytime later?
Or is it just a formatting error and it is supposed to be where the required feats are?

07-02-07, 06:55 AM They are a requirement just like the other feats. The reason they're listed separately is because you have to take 1 of those 3 feats, not all of them, and the designers probably felt it would be easiest to make people understand that if they were listed in a different place from the other feats.
