benjimon 04-30-08, 01:24 AM	I'm looking for a prestige class that does not give up too many caster levels and if possible increases sneak attack(less important) I'm a Kobold which means I don't meet the requirements for the nifty drow only class and the DM stated that I cannot be LG (Drizzit clones are illegal ie good versions of evil races) so that takes out the shadow bane inquisitor. I have heard the Arcane trickster class is not worth taking could you guys give any suggestions? My role in the party is both that of rogue and primary healer and occasional bashie my stats are str 6 dex 19 con 12 (16) int 16 wis 20 cha 12 (16) I am currently lvl 9 if you need any info please let me know

JulesCARV 05-01-08, 01:37 AM	One route that is frequently recommended in such circumstances is being a cloistered cleric (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/unearthedCoreClass.html#cloistered-cleric) with the kobold (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060420a) domain. The kobold domain will give you trapfinding and disable device and search as class skills, and being a cloistered cleric will give you 6 + int skill points, along with some cool spells like identify (the divine version of identify saves a lot of money compared to the arcane version). With trickery to make hide in-class, the only things missing are sneak attack damage and a few other skills like move silently, spot, and listen. UPDATE: I realize that this post isn't really about a prestige class as you requested, and if you already had base classes, domains, etc, all figured out and my post was distinctly unhelpful, then my apologies. It's just that this is the solution to the "rogue/cleric" problem that appeals most to me.
Beckettvampire 05-03-08, 12:17 AM	Personally I think Black Flamer sucks. First Kukri??? The class was based off of an oriental FR setting of the religion of Kosuth, whose favored weapon is the spiked chain. Kukri??? Also, what exactly does the class give you, oh the ability to ignite things you kill. There really isn't much in the way of Rogue/Clerics. There is two in the Complete Champion, but they are pretty specific in what they actually focus on in the Rogue side. I'd talk to your DM about letting you go with a Temple Raider with a Cleric spell Progression, or just go Cleric/Rogue.
