| Jandeku11-20-07, 08:21 PM | I started my first campaign as a DM some months ago, and recently I was attempting to introduce a spellcaster NPC that focuses on building constructs of various kinds. As a prototype, I made him as a wizard and made sure he had the most common spells for construct-building (according to the ones on the monster manuals)... In the end, I wasn't all that satisfied with the final result. My question is: is there any prestige class for this kind of characters, or even feats that'd give him an edge over regularly built constructs? |

Effigy Master is good at building them, also you could probably stack a few levels of Maester onto that too to get quick crafting and whatever else it grants. Check out Eberron as well. I know there is the Artificer class that has specific abilities for constructs, so there's bound to be more stuff in that setting for manipulating constructs. |

I was looking at Maester combined with Effigy Master - pointless. Maester sucks. Though if you are going to craft a colossal effigy, then yeah, you can craft it in a month instead of 2. |
