While like their 2 partners (mages and shapers) there are a few differences. Since they are much more self-involved they tend more to neutrality then the other 2 branches. They are mainly composed of psions but there are quite a number of wilders, psyhic warriors, and ardents within their ranks. Since a psionic gains his power by inner strength not studing what those before them did, they spend less time at the monastary. This could be one of the reasons why they wield less power within the guardians, they are never there. The drive to go forth and help those around them is there but they do it more to help themselves. Need to work on more/better fluff. Any help will be appreciated. Now to the crunchy parts.... It says in CA to just put manifesting in for spellcasting but that means that quite a few of the abilities do Nothing for a manifester. Daggermanifest A psion while wielding one or two daggers gains the benefit of the Combat Manifesting feat. Also he gains a Psicrystal Weapon(from UTP.) Invocation of the knife A psion gains Daggerspell Stance to his powers known. Double Daggermanifest A psion can channel a touch power through his other dagger just like his PCW. Psionic Infusion A psion gains +1D6 whenever charging a Deep Crystal weapon(for a total of 3D6 for 2PP) Let me know what you think about it. I know daggermanifest is pretty strong(2 feats) but one of them is conditional and casting spells without somatic or material is Very powerful for wizards, Invocation of the knife-turning energy into slashing damage doesnt help a psion since he picks whatever kind of energy he wants, not what he studied in the morning, and I just liked the feel of the Infusion better. So, any comments more then welcome.(I would prefer the good ones though) Respect Nathan |
