This is my first Prestige class. I was playing with the idea of a blindfighting character for a while. And I don't mean a Drizzt rip off. I mean someone who, if they have to fight, turns everything for twenty fight in any direction pitch black the split second the fighting starts. I wanted to do it for either a Factotum or bard character. I just need someone to proof it. Thanks in Advance.
PS: This is my first. If you think it's "broken", go ahead and tell me. I'm an adult, I can take it. But then fix whatever it is that's busted. Thanks again.

Class Features
As they advance in level, Darkblades gain increased spellcasting abilities, heightened speed, and unparalleled understanding of the darkness spell They also learn how to manipulate the Quicken Spell metamagic feat to powerful effect.
Spellcasting: At each level indicated on the Darkblade table, the character gains new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if they had also gained a level in an arcane spellcasting class to which they belonged before adding the prestige class level. They do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If the character had more than one arcane spellcasting class before becoming a Darkblade, they must decide which class gains each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.
Extended Knack (Ex): A Darkblade is able to better maximize the benefits of the Extended Spell feat. The quickened spell occupies a slot three levels higher than the spell's actual level instead of four levels higher. Moreover, the Darkblade may apply Extend Spell to a single spontaneously cast spell of their choice without increasing the casting time to a full round action. At 4th level, and every three levels thereafter (7th and 10th), the Darkblade may choose an additional spontaneously cast spell to which Quicken Spell may be applied without increasing the casting time. If a bard or sorcerer learns a new spell in place of one to which this ability has been applied, the character may choose a different spell to receive the benefit of quickened knack.
Reflexive Celerity (Ex): At 2nd level, a Darkblade infuses the energy of previous darkness castings into their vision. Darkblades permanently receive a competence bonus on their Spot Checks equal to their arcane spellcasting ability modifier.
Swift Surge (Ex): At 3rd level, a Darkblade's vision develops as a response to time spent under the influence of darkness spells, both as a result of not seeing and also learning how to protect their eyes. They gain Darkvision and immunity to gaze attacks.
Prolonged darkness(Ex): At 4th level, a Darkblade's comprehension of the darkness spell increases the spell's duration. Darkblades may cast darkness as if it is augmented by the Widen Spell feat without using up higher-level spell slots.
Style Mastery (Sp): At 5th level, a Darkblade's knowledge of the blindfighting feat has been practiced extensively. The Darkblade now gains concealment in darkness against other blindfighters.
Bound Acceleration (Ex): At 6th level, a Darkblade learns how to intuitively subsume the darkness spell into their body. Any time Darkblades cast darkness on themselves, the effect becomes extraordinary rather than spell-like, and therefore cannot be dispelled by any means.
Quickened darkness(Ex): At 7th level, a Darkblade refines their ability to fight within darkness. They gain both the mobility and spring attack feats.
Erudite Rapidity (Ex): At 8th level, a Darkblade comprehensively understands the spellcasting nuances of the darkness spell Darkblades who cast spells as a wizard can swap out any memorized spell of 3rd level or higher in order to cast darkness instead. Darkblades who cast spells as bards or sorcerers can cast darkness as a spell-like ability but are still limited by their spell slots per day.
Opportunistic fighting: A Darkblade by this point has figured out how to fight most efficiently in Darkness. They gain the combat reflexes feat.
Innervated darkness(Ex): At 10th level, a Darkblade forms an immutable and life-altering bond with their darkness spell Darkblades of this level become native outsiders, and can also cast darkness at will.

Isn't this PrC basically Swiftblade except for the Darkness spell instead of Haste?

Good work though. :)

pretty much. Darkness is a lower level spell, and the requirements I can have by a 5th or sixth level character. I basically rewrote it, made it a touch more useful, and mixed it. The swiftblade needed a bit of combat instead of just relying on haste and blur. As long as I can turn out the lights, I'm good. or just put off my fighting until nighttime. That way, an antimagic field can't shut me down. I also have an idea for some darts for this guy. absolutely NASTY, if I can do it.
