If it shifts into Scott who is in Abotts party but also takes on bass charateristics does Scott look like a hairy bass? and then can Abott cast prismatic spray or would the half bas die fisrt because its not in water..but then if prismatic spray sends it to another plane and that plane happens to be the elemental plane of water then would the half bass doppelbanger live or would it change back into a normal doppelbanger and drown?

OK, I am venturing into this post hoping that I am helping some one and not feeding a troll. First, I think you are talking about Doppleganger. Might only be a letter, but it does make a difference. Second, a Doppleganger cannot be a Lycanthrope. Lycanthrope can only be added to Humanoids and Giants. Dopplegangers are Monstrous Humanoids and not valid targets for Lycnathropy. To sum up, the situation couldn't happen.
