Dragon Disciple Fly Speed [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-25-07, 11:51 AM I've reached DD lvl 10, and that means I take on the Half-Dragon Template, which lists a different fly speed than my 9th level indicates...

Which one do I use, as I am a medium critter?

06-25-07, 11:58 AM That which the Disciple gives, I believe - specific rules usually trump general ones. That, and iirc medium half-dragons do not get a fly speed from the template, anyway.

06-25-07, 01:04 PM I'd give you the more advantageous of the two. If you are large or larger, then at 10th level your fly speed should improve to twice your base speed. If you're medium or smaller, you would stay at 1x your base speed.
