Dragon Disciple querys [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-25-07, 09:53 PM Alrighty. I was looking at the dragon deciple, and I must say, they are rather apealing. I have a question about the Dragon Apotheosis, that only you guy's can answer. It say's I gain the 'half dragon template' wich includes +8 to strength. It also says I gain +4 to strength...does that ACTUALLY mean I gain +12 strength?

Same for the armor. It says the natural armor goes up to +4 (wich would be a +1 increase at this point) BUT, with the Half dragon, I gain an EXTRA +4

Overall, is this upgrade AMAZEING, or am I just stupid?

03-25-07, 11:25 PM The bonuses from Dragon Apotheosis dont stack with the other bonuses from Dragon Disciple. You end up with the extra bonuses of a half-dragon.

03-25-07, 11:54 PM At the end of the class you effectively gain the Half-Dragon template (so you only get a total +8 STR, +4 natural armor, ect.), your blindsense, wings, and HD/BAB/Saves. I believe you also gain the type DRAGON which carries a number of benefits with it.
