03-08-08, 12:01 PM I'm looking for a cool/impressive druid Prestige class. EXTREMELY Nature orientated, for example slowly turning into a tree as your level progresses. I want something with cool original impressive spells I can cast with my group that when I cast it they go "WHOA!"

03-08-08, 12:06 PM the only class i can think of that does what you want is: Druid. In general all druid prc are weaker than the original druid class.

03-08-08, 12:58 PM As said, the most powerful non-Pun-Pun character you could possibly get is a Druid 10/Planar Sheperd 10. If you wish to just get into a Druidish PrC that is not necessarily powerful but has nice fluff and bonuses you like, then you should not take it. Besides the fact that most sane DMs banish it. And some insane ones, too.

Well it's pretty obvious where Eberron chose to make up its brokenness quota. The setting is actually pretty good about avoiding that nonsense, most of those sort of mistakes are concentrated there.

The Verdant Lord, from Masters of the Wild, turns into a Plant creature as its capstone 10th-level ability. It also gets full BAB and a plethora of plant-related abilities.

03-08-08, 04:22 PM Jaxgaret hit the nail on the head with the Verdant Lord... I wish it had been updated, it was quite cool and fairly powerful - almost a worthy choice for a druid to make instead of more PrC levels. Anything else... Well, the Talontar Blightlord turns you into a plant of some sort, and while not as good as a true druid it has a rather interesting flavor - what the Blighter wishes it could have been. It's in Unapproachable East, if you're interested.

Thanks. Just a note: the Verdant Lord, like most other non-updated 3.0 classes, is playable in a 3.5 campaign.

Just for future reference, could you bold any changes in "fixes" in quotes? Otherwise you'll make it look like other people have said things they have not, and the reverse might come true.

Fixed clearly implies changes were made. It still links to the original. I didn't think it necessary.
