I know prestige classes such as the Mystic Theurge and Arcane Heirophant allow continued progression for both Arcane and Divine casting. I know the Ultimate Magus allows for continued prepared and spontaneous casting. I've been able to find Arcane/Invocation, Divine/Invocation and Arcane/Psion prestige. I'm building a Druid/Spirit Shaman NPC and I'd like to be able to give him a prestige class that'll allow to continue the progression in both equally. Obviouslly I can always edit a existing PrC or something but I'd like to know if there are any official ones out there that I've somehow missed.
Thanks in advance

There is no official divine/divine PrC. Although I would love one too...

Figured as much but I thought I'd ask the many great (and not so great) minds that fill the boards.

Looking at it now that means making a PrC is the next most likely step. I'd like to keep some of the flavor from both classes with the Wild Shape and the Spirit Warrior theme.
Just a duel-divine class like the Mystic Theurge seems bland and boring and doesnt do much for me. I dont know if power level wise though if the both divine casting classes out-power any other added abilities? Maybe a merging of the Spirit Guide and the Animal Companion similiar to the Heirophant. Wild Empathy checks would of course stack. Any thoughts Suggestions would be helpful :D

One of the main reasons that there are no divine/divine PrC's is that almost all divine casting is Wis based, therefore you would only have to worry about one ability for your spellcasting. The other duel casting PrC's do not have spellcasting based on the same ability (for the most part). The only duel casting PrC that I can think of which easily lets you use two classes that use the same ability is Cerebremancer (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/prestigeClasses/cerebremancer.htm) (And technically, that is manifesting, not casting). The Shugenja is a divine class that uses Cha, but Shugenja's aren't that great to begin with.

Keep this in mind when designing your PrC. It should probably be weaker in comparison to the Arcane Heirophant.

Just remember that if you try to create such a PrC, it would be overpowered to let it advance the druid's wildshape, animal companion, and spellcasting (assuming it grants other powers, like casting from another class). For that reason, a lot of people will be loath to take such a class. There are few situations that can compell a player to want to multiclass out of druid. Few PrCs offer more than what the base class itself offers. The ones that do are often considered broken.

Basically, you'll have to come up with something at a similar power level to the druid itself, and give a good flavor reason to take the PrC.

Yup. From what I understand, Planar Shepheard (I don't have the book) is the only PrC that advances a Druid's casting and wildshape.

For the record after looking things up again, the Spirit Shaman gains spells and bonus spells based upon Wisdom score but the DC for saving throws and spells casts are based upon the Shaman's Charisma Modifier. So Wisdom isn't completely the only needed stat. Now I don't know if that would consider it to not have spellcasting based on the same ability score thus allowing for a equal progression of both or not. This is really the first PrC I've done up totally from scratch so I'd not sure on balance issues totally. The animal companion is the lowest concern on things. So I'm not to worried if there isnt a increase in Druid level's regarding it.

My original thought were dropping the BAB down to the low end (+0 through +5) and increasing caster levels as -

1 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
2 + 1 Level Existing Druid Spellcasting
3 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
4 + 1 Level Existing Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
5 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
6 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
7 + 1 Level Existing Druid Spellcasting
8 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
9 + 1 Level Existing Spirit Shaman Spellcasting
10 + 1 Level Existing Druid & Spirit Shaman Spellcasting

Now I dont know balance wise what I can still do with Wild Shape at this point and I'd still like to try and get some of the Spirit Shaman's abilities such as Ghost Warrior. I don't need wild shape increases in size, if I could still get Plant though and by the end of the Prc get Spirit Form maybe as a Wild shape/Spirit allowing the Prc to go incorporeal or elemental still.

Havent decided on all the requirements for the class but I'm thinking atleast -

Alignement: N, NG, NE, CN, LN

Base Attack: +4

Spells: Able to cast 3rd-Level Divine prepared spells
Able to cast 3rd-Level Divine spontaneous spells

Skills: Knowledge (Nature) 8
Knowledge (Religion) 8

Special: Wild Shape
Detect Spirits
Must have had physical contact with a "Spirit" for
atleast one day. Summoned Creatures do not
count. However creatures that are Called , ex.
Planar Ally do. Contact may have been of a
friendly nature or aggressive contact.

Thoughts?

Is Wild Shape one of the prereqs? This will force you to have at least five levels of druid. I don't remember what the spirit shaman gets at what level, so I don't know what the minimum level is for them to qualify. This makes the overall level requirements different from Ultimate Magus. Perhaps that's what you wanted.

As for other ablities, I'm not sure how much wild shape you can put in. I don't think theres any way you can just add the class level to your druid level, as it would be too powerful. Still, you'll have to lose at least one level of wild shape to take a level of spirit shaman, and losing more during the PrC will make this less of an attractive option.

A PrC like this will be largely chosen for flavor, not power.
