Well, my first idea would be swashbuckler with some carmendine monk (or monk + kung fu genius - basically getting your int to damage), but you don't seem to have the books. In this case, let's see... Keep in mind I don't have ECS. I'd probably start with some fighter - a few extra feats are quite handy, unless you find a monk style that gives you some of the prerequisites for bonus feats - but not more than 4 levels, I guess. You could go with fighter 6 (or ranger 6, or rogue 8, or monk 8) but still, these may be even better.

- Variant 1: Fighter/monk: requires you being able to devote a good wisdom score to the mix. Still, duelists are often unarmed, and the fighter is a good way to get bonus feats. 4/4, perhaps (specalization can help a bit wit hthe damage). Check if there's a feat in the ECS that lets you flurry with a slightly better weapon than a kama. Pure monk tends to be feat-poor, although it could work.
- subvariant: psychic warrior/monk: a little worse BAB, but has psionics. No matter how good you are as a duelist, Inertial armor always improves things. If you're really keen on AC, consider getting inertial barrier as well. IIRC the ECS had something that added your psi-class level to your monk level for a few things. 4/4 is an okay mix if you don't want to enter too late.

- Variant 2: Fighter/rogue: good on skills, not too bad on feats. less MAD and another form of damage. 2/6 or 4/4 if you want to enter relatively early.
