| Iceflame5505-25-07, 01:23 PM | I've been playing Dungeon Keeper II lately (again!), but that of course fed right back into D&D concepts. I'm still somewhat new to class making, so I decided to throw this on the collective table again, with some speculation on variants. In the game, you were the stereotypical Evil Wizard, with the required stereotypical Minions. But I can't see where Wizards should get all the fun in D&D. So, can anyone think of what a prestige class based on Dungeon Keeper would be if it gave different things to different classes? Wizards would gain things that augment their magics and more spellcasting abilities, while a Cleric would gain Spellcasting and added abilities related to their Divine abilities. Fighters would gain more abilities devoted to inspiring Minions, and the abilities to raise large armies? Thieves might run the perfect Underworld racket, etc. One thing I'd REALLY like to see is a Dungeon Keeper more suited to the neat supplements of Heros of Horror and Dungeonscape!!! That alone would be worth it :). |

The Dungeon Lord's got some great abilities, but it's only a five level class, and is pretty much only for Monsters. It's also not as tailored as what I'm thinking of. The Realms of Evil had an interesting Base Class, but again, wasn't quite what it could have been. I want something that's for the PCs that want to follow in Halaster's infamous footsteps! He's the ULTIMATE Dungeon Keeper currently in D&D. |
