Elemental Class [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-26-07, 04:42 PM Does anyone know of any PrCs(or base classes, for that matter) that focus on elementals? Specifically on either shapeshifting into them or taking on traits of an elemental for combat? Please include which book the class can be found in.

09-26-07, 05:21 PM Elemental Archon. Champions of Faith. Summons appropriate mephits and slowly becomes an elemental.

09-26-07, 07:35 PM The druid itself can shapeshift into an elemental. From the mages, Elemental Savants and Frostmages eventually get elemental traits (CArc and Frostburn, respectively).

09-27-07, 08:23 AM There's a PrC in Miniatures Handbook that grants you an elemental familiar, and then advances it. Not quite what you're looking for though.

09-27-07, 10:03 AM Er, kinda late now, but the Wu Jen (OA/CArc), the Shugenja (OA/CDiv) and the Shair (Dragon compendium) are all spellcasters with a strong elemental bend. Also, iirc the Planar Handbook had a PrC for warriors who strengthened themselves through affiliation with an elemental plane.
