This may be a rather random question to ask, but my friend and I were brainstorming one day, just coming up with ideas and discussing whatever came to mind, and we got on the subject of Prestige classes. Currently his favorite is the entropomancer, while mine is the Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil, and we couldn't help but wonder, how does the shard of entropy deal and interact with the veils of the IotSFV? As in, is it counted as anything in particular that would be dealt with by the veils, or is it, by virtue of being "a shard of nothing" (effectively) allowed to have free reign through the veils themselves?

According to the description of the class, the shard (when used for attacking) is considered a 'ranged touch attack', but we were again, wondering if that meant that the initiate's orange or indigo veil would block it, for example, or if the fact that the shard is basically 'entropy' means that the veils are not applicable.

Thanks in advance for your help, we're just curious and couldn't come up with a direct answer.

It would not be an unreasonable houserule to say that the Entropomancer's entropic abilities are not blocked by the Initiate's veils, particularly because there are some prismatic and force effects that already pass through the veils.

However, as written, the Entropomancer's abilities are Supernatural abilities that have no special difference from other Supernatural abilities, so they would be blocked by the two highest veils, just like almost every other magical attack.
