Exorcist of the Silver Flame as a soulknife prestige class? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-29-07, 07:25 PM There was a discussion on the Eberron boards (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=816968) about non-Kalashtar/Inspired sources of psionics in Eberron. One intriguing possibility was that the Silver Flame might have a psionic aspect since it's essentially made of amalgamated couatls, and couatls are psionic. This lead me to think of a potential combination: soulknife/cleric or favored soul/exorcist of the Silver Flame. This character's Weapon of the Exorcist, of course, would be her mind blade.

Thoughts? Would this be viable?

03-29-07, 08:35 PM It's certainly a neat idea (I like the flavor a lot), although I'm not sure how effective it would be in practice. The mind blade needs soulknife levels to actually scale (unless there's a feat in Complete Psionic that overrides this), which means a lot of lost spellcasting levels. Likewise, the Exorcist of the Silver Flame gives up a fair number of caster levels. I'm not sure how you'd be able to optimize this... maybe try posting on the CharOp boards?
