One aspect of the uncanny blow feature is that when using power attack, it lets you consider a one-handed exotic weapon like a two-handed one to determine damage... except that it makes no difference whatsoever as far as I can understand it in the power attack description, ie you add twice the number subtracted from your attack rolls. What am I missing? thx |

The whole text is based on the context that you are wielding an 1h exotic weapon, in 2 hands. The thing is, Complete Warrior is the first 3.5 splatbook. It was unclear if medium weapon in 2 hands of a medium creature should be considered as 1h weapon or 2h weapon, in 3.0 era. But they changed the handedness in 3.5. It seems that they were worried about 3.0 legacy, so that they emphasized it(or they themselves were still in 3.0 mindset). |
