I was wondering if whether in the current 3.5 game if you would allow the force weaver in your games and whether you think it is too powerful?

My D.M says it should be fine but I don't want to unbalance the game as we are all casters and if I can out damage the other casters by a lot our encounters will have to be more difficult meaning we may die.

No, I think importing material from a Star Wars Expanded Universe novel is an unwise decision.

In other words: what are you talking about?

Sorry, I was talking about the Force weaver from Path of Magic, the one that has full caster level progression and grants immunity to force damage.

Path of Magic? What is this? 3rd party broken stuff?

Third Party?... I believe so.
Broken?... Not sure, thats what I was asking.
It seems kind of powerful, elementalist casters can have a prestige class to specialize in their element, and eventually become immune to it.
Force is slightly different though as almost no creatures are immune to it and its transdimensional.
This is why I'm not sure what to do.
The Build so far is a star-elf/Half-dragon(Force)
sorc 6/ ruathar 3/ argent savant 5 and we just leveled and I'm not sure what exactly to do and then I saw force weaver and it seemed along the line of force specialization.
