I posted this in another thread, but only got one response. You people can't hide forever, I need some comments. I need help with the following prestige class:

I created this class a long time ago, but never got around to posting it with its full abilties. The purpose of this class is to take a determined half-dragon to a full-blooded young adult true dragon over the course of several levels. I would ask you to look it over a little before posting, for if you read into it, the PC has to be at least level 10 (or for the 'stranger' classes, like duskblade, level 9.) before they qualify for the class and thus the minimum ending level of the class is 22. I am looking at this from rose-colored glasses and as such am probably overvaluing the drawback of such a thing. So here it is, without further ado.

Dragon Apostle

Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +6, able to cast 2 level arcane spells or 6th level arcane caster, Half-Dragon template, Feats: Dragon Breath (Races of the Dragon) Must have visited the dragonfont or area of similar power.

Class Base Fort Ref Will Special Spellcasting
Level Attack Bonus Save Save Save
1st +1 +2 +0 +2 Ability Increase (+2 con), Natural Armor +1, Dragon hit die +1 Level Sorcerer
2nd +2 +3 +0 +3 Natural Weapon Size bonus, Immunities/vulnerabilites
3rd +3 +3 +1 +3 Damage Reduction 1/magic, Ability Increase (+2 str) +1 Level Sorcerer
4th +4 +4 +1 +4 Dragon Tail, Natural Armor +2
5th +5 +4 +1 +4 Damage Reduction 2/magic, Wings +1 level Sorcerer
6th +6 +5 +2 +5 Ability Increase (+2 int), blindsense 30'
7th +7 +5 +2 +5 +3 Natural Armor Damage Reduction 3/magic +1 level Sorcerer
Natural Armor +3
8th +8 +6 +2 +6 Wing Slams, Ability Increase (+2 Cha)
9th +9 +6 +3 +6 Frightful Presence, Damage Reduction 4/magic +1 Level Sorcerer
10th +10 +7 +3 +7 Spell Resistance, Natural Armor +4,
11th +11 +7 +3 +7 Damage Reduction 5/magic, blind sense 60’ +1 Level Sorcerer
12th +12 +8 +4 +8 Dragon Form

(please forgive the sloppy layout).

Spellcasting: At first level and every two levels thereafter, a charecter gains one effective level of sorceror. She does not gain any other benefits of the class such as an improved familiar.
Dragon Hit Dice: All hit dice gained in this prestige class count as dragon hit dice for all intensive purposes.
Natural Armor: At first level, a dragon apostle in this class gains a +1 enhancement their natural armor. For every three levels after first, this bonus improves by 1.
Natural Weapon Size Bonus: At second level, a dragon apostle's natural weapons are treated as being one size catergory larger if the dragon apostle's size is large or smaller.
Immunities/vulnerabilities: A dragon apostle gains the vulerneralilites and immunities of her base dragon. Cross-reference the monster manual under wyrmling dragon to find these.
Dragon Tail: You grow a dragon's tail. You can make tail slap attacks as a dragon of your size catergory.
Wings: You gain a fly speed equal to your base land speed at average manuverability. If you already have a fly speed, use this one or your current existing fly speed +10, whichever is greater.
Blindsense: At sixth level, a dragon apostle becomes more attuned to her surroundings. She gains blindsense with a range of 30 feet. At level 11, this improves to 60 feet.
Wing Slams: You can make wing slam attacks as a dragon of your size catergory. If a dragon of your size catergory does not make wing slams, then neither do you. Instead, you gain a +10 enhancement to your fly speed.
Frightful Presense: You gain a frightful presense. Whenever your attack, charge, or do any other threatening action, enemies withing 30' of you must make a will save or be shaken (see frightful presense for more information, I donthave books on me right now). This range improves to 60' at eleventh level.
Spell Resistance: You gain the spell resistance of a dragon. (see spell resistance for more info as above.)
Dragon Form: Your journey to dragon is complete. You become a true dragon of your type. You grow in size to reflect this change. Do NOT recalculate ability scores, base attack bonus, saves or natural armor (((do not pass go, do not collect 200 gold))). You gain all the spell-like and supernatural abilities of a young adult dragon of your type. A dragon apostle of this level is now 51 year olds old, regardless of her age before the transformation, and continues regularly along the dragon age progression. You do not, however, recalculate aging penalties and bonuses.

I realize that this class still needs some work to become balanced. I'm currently facing a dillema about how to balance the class and simultaneously make the final jump to true dragon less powerful (ex. balancing the class by taking out the size jump for natural weapons). I'm also willing to downgrade the will save right now and am open to any other suggestions outside of the typical "scrap this project asap."

Any kind of feedback would be beneficial, and I ask you to excuse the poor quality in writing out the abilities, ill be going back and glossing them over later

your class goes into epic levels, the last two levels will end up cut short unless there is some special text stateing otherwise that i missed. this could be a pretty good class for those that have taken fighter 5/ dragon devotee 5/ dragon disciple 10. I do however disagree with the age change at the end; it doesn't really make sense to me.

I had put the age change in to solidify the trasition to dragon body. Essentially, you're changing your body to that of a dragon and your physical age would reflect this (perhaps I should add a phrase saying "you keep all prior age penalties/bonuses?"). I chose the age of 51 because that is the first year of the young adult stage for a dragon and putting the pc a full 49 years away from its next age catergory increase. I can always change this if it is too much of a problem, and if you don't mind, im going to wait and see what other people think before changing it.

The blind-sense is good, but seems like a much too large area. The wing slam alt-bonus doesn't seem to be very helpful, mostly because the only thing that wouldn't get them is a small critter...
There's also something about the dragon transformation that's really bugging me...I can't put my finger on it....maybe it has something to do with the fact that young adult dragons are gimp at level 22 (or 21)

Ok, thank you all for your input (im still looking for more if you are reading this). About your comment TevolRia, I've looked over the core rulebooks quite a bit, but I still don't understand your comment about epic levels. If you could point out to me the page where it describes that any levels above 20 must have epic levels or something similair, that would be greatly appreciated.
