| 1 ton ghost10-20-07, 02:31 PM | this is a common problem in ALL RPGs. your role , no class, in the team mentality needs to be filled. typically, if Raising and Ressurection aren't an option and you're looking for a new character, you gotta' ask if anyone else is tired of their guy/role. this way you can flip flop more easilly and keep team balance. the factory preset so to speak: "the prefab 4" 1 tank (Ftr, Brb, etc. anyone w/ full BAB) 1 arcane (usually a wizard, preferrably for small groups) 1 divine (usually a cleric) 1 troubleshooter (rogue, scout, ninja, etc) don't know how many are in your group or what they represent. but, for evil's sake, anything in BoVD is gold. -justice of weal and woe (champs of ruin) isn't blatantly evil, but they are terribly effective attack types. very deadly ranged and stealth -good ol' assassin. limitless possibilities -darkmask (Lord of Darkness) is a nasty cleric/rogue combo for Vhaerun. really, any PrC can be turly wicked depending on your align and committment to the role dramatically speaking. i've seen plain vanilla Ftrs that were truly horrific and evil given their disposition and judicious feat placement. |

| Felbarren10-22-07, 06:29 AM | Actually, sounds like they need a skill monkey. Depending on levels and what not, a Rogue/Assassin combo sounds just about perfect. Oh, it can be done better, no doubt, and others will tell you how. But a Drow Rogue/Assassin? Very simple, very good at their job, and very, VERY evil. |
