| PaBLoX02-23-07, 09:47 PM | I've a player who plays a rogue, he founds the Shadowdancer very good, but he doesn't want to lose the sneak attack... what do you recommend me? what do you think i should change to make it fair?? what if he changes summon shadow, shadow illusion and slippery mind for sneak attack each 2 levels? (or more if that is too unfair). I dont know all the PrC, maybe there's other which fullfils his wishes =P |

It's annoying how the summoned shadow is made into a liability though; I think a previous version gave them multiple shadows like the beastmaster's many companions, and even then it's a pain when you get a massive XP loss at a shadow's destruction. Otherwise, I guess 3d6 to 4d6 could be okay if you ditch some of the shadow abilities, but I don't know if it keeps with the class' flavor. Perhaps you could just add 1d6 at lvl 4 and 8 and leave the rest as it is. |
