| RabidPirateMan03-31-08, 08:41 PM | First time putting something out. Thought I'd try it, since I was looking to add a prestige class into my game in the near future. High Warlord of Maglubiyet ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Race: Hobgoblin Alignment: Lawful Evil, Lawful Neutral Skills: Knowledge (Religion) 2 Ranks, Intimidate 4 Ranks Feats: Power Attack, Improved Critical (Bastard Sword), Combat Expertise Weapon Proficiency: Proficient with tower shields Special: Must worship Maglubiyet Special: Must have successfully commanded a raiding party of at least 10 soldiers against an enemy. Class Skills lol havent worked them out Skills Points at Each Level : 2 + int Hit Dice: d10 BAB Fort Ref Will Abilities 1. +1 +2 +0 +2 Warblessing, Bonus Feat 2. +2 +3 +0 +3 Dominating Blow 3. +3 +3 +1 +3 Tower Shield Adaptability +1 4. +4 +4 +1 +4 Bonus Feat 5. +5 +4 +1 +4 Tower Shield Mastery 6. +6 +5 +2 +5 Tower Shield Adaptability +2 7. +7 +5 +2 +5 Bonus Feat 8. +8 +6 +2 +6 Greater Warblessing 9. +9 +6 +3 +6 Tower Shield Adaptability +3 10.+10 +7 +3 +7 Powerful Strike, Bonus Feat Weapon Proficiencies: High Warlord of Maglubiyet gains no new weapon or armor proficiencies. Warblessing: A High Warlord can channel Maglubiyet's divine favor unto his troops. Upon entering this class, a High Warlord gains the ability to cast Bear's Endurance, Mass a number of times per day equal to half his High Warlord level. A High Warlord casts as a Cleric of his level. Bonus Feat: At first and every three levels thereafter, a High Warlord gains a bonus feat. This must be a feat noted as a bonus fighter feat, and must have Combat Expertise or Power Attack as a prerequisite. Dominating Blow: Upon reaching second level, a High Warlord's knowledge of combat aids his performance on the battlefield. When Power Attacking, a High Warlord adds his Constitution modifier to his Strength. Tower Shield Adaptability: At 3rd level, you're skill with the tower shield allows you to move unhindered. The maximum Dexterity bonus for any tower shield you wield (including Mithral versions) is increased by 1. For example, a tower shield normally has a maximum Dexterity bonus of +2, but the Tower Shield Adaptability increases this to +3. At 6th level, you improve the maximum Dexterity bonus of tower shields by 2 and at 9th level by 3. Tower Shield Mastery: At 5th level, your tower shield becomes an extension of your body. You no longer take a -2 penalty to attacks when wielding a tower shield. Greater Warblessing: Maglubiyet favors his prized warriors strength in battle. Upon reaching 8th level, a High Warlord may instead cast Bull's Strength, Mass instead of Bear's Endurance, Mass. This ability still uses up one of the daily uses of the High Warlord's Warblessing. Powerful Strike: A High Warlord's strength in combat is matched only by his cruelty. At 10th level, when a High Warlord is Power Attacking with a weapon in one hand while wielding a Tower Shield, he is treated as wielding his weapon in two hands for the sake of calculating damage. The normal requirements for making a Power Attack still apply. --- A prize to the person who can guess what prestige class this is obviously ripped off of. |
| ArkhamInmate03-31-08, 09:02 PM | I don't hve time to really sit there but shouldn't goblins be allowed in too? |
| RabidPirateMan03-31-08, 09:07 PM | I figured this'd be a crappy class for goblins. Besides, Hobgoblins get no love. Goblins at least are good if you squint your eyes to the point where you cant read the stats for Whisper Gnomes... |
| DonThelonious03-31-08, 11:51 PM | There is a thread you should see. It called Races of The Horde: PrCs. It is here on the PrC forum. Trust me. EDIT: And look in my sig if you want to see some real love for goblins. |
| RabidPirateMan04-02-08, 05:50 PM | I checked out some of the stuff on that thead; pretty cool. You can repost this in there if you want and tweak it around to your liking. |
| RabidPirateMan04-04-08, 12:49 AM | I'll bump this. |
