| RedRory08-05-07, 11:19 PM | Hello all I just thought I'd put out a question to folks on this board. I'm going to be starting in a new campaign (as a player for once!). I've had this character concept of a nomadic barbarian/cleric. Sort of a Mongolian holy warrior type. My question is are there any prcs that have been published by Wizards or in Dragon that work for this multiclass? Something like a Holy Berserker? I've flipped thru the Complete Divine and there wasn't anything that struck me as the flavour I had in mind. I could create one but I'd like to use something already tested. Any ideas? Thanks! |

They are granted their maneuvers randomly each encounter based on a "moment of divine inspiration." Depending on how you roleplay it, this could be just what you're looking for. It's also a pretty awesome class. EDIT: Oh, but they don't have the rage ability. I just thought putting your own unique touch to the random divine granting of maneuvers part would be cool. |

That Said The Holyreaver is a whole lot of fun too but not built specifically for a raging character like Champion of Gwynharwyf. |
| Thurbane08-06-07, 07:58 AM | Champion of Gwynharwyf That's easy for you to say! :D |
| Jaxgaret08-06-07, 04:42 PM | That's easy for you to say! :D It is, actually. |
| Callix08-06-07, 05:06 PM | It's "Gwin-har-wif". What's hard to say? It looks intimidating, but it's not hard to pronounce. On the issue at hand, Champion of Gwynharwyf has some nice abilities to stop yourself from doing evil things mid-rage, which matters if you're playing an exalted character. On the other hand, Complete Champion has some stuff on "divine characters of all classes" that can give you a righteous barbarian, but no casting. |

| RedRory08-07-07, 03:38 PM | Thanks for the posts and the phonetic notes re Gwynharwyf! What is that, Welsh I guess? I had a chance to look at the Gwynharwyf class and it looks pretty good for what I was thinking with some fluff adaptations or I'll just play a very ill-tempered straight up cleric. But thanks for the info! |
