| JLaurHughes05-07-07, 01:39 PM | I've looked, and the SRD is right, however unless your Character level is 21+ at ShadowDancer 11th you cannot gain the epic prestige levels. It might be a good idea to go back into the PrC so that you can gain the epic levels in it when(and if) you get to that level. For non epic SD's they can only summon one shadow until their epic level, treat the 11th SD level as Summon Multiple, where you can summon 1/3 your level in shadow companions.(3@11th, 4@12th, 5@15th and so on as Shadow Companion improves). Which would make sense. The Hypertext online SRD has a typing error, it's supposed to be 8 HD instead of 9 per shadow. |
| Schmendrick05-08-07, 09:45 PM | The Epic handbook was published under 3.0, when the shadowdancer gained extra shadow companions in addition to adding HD to existing ones. I consider the "multiple companions" references in the epic entry to be just another copy/paste oversight. |
