Well, the point is simple:
My DM asked me to choose a prestige class.
Does any of you remember 2E channelers from spell and magic options?
The idea was this: They knew a LOT of spells, just like any mage, and didn't need a spellbook to cast them, nor memorized or forget them.
What they did was 'allocate' them, to a maximum ammount of spells they could have memorized at each time.
Whenever they did cast a spell, they got fatigued to a degree, with lower level spells tiring them a bit and higher level spells fatiguign them so much that they could die unless they succeded in a save against paralisis.
I'm looking something like that in 3E.
The idea was that, while a first level magician could cast a spell and then go to sleep because he could barely walk, a 20th level mage could cast up to 7th level spells withow even getting a headache.
I'm looking for something like that, does any of you know of something like that?
If so what's the name, where can I find it?
Forum classes included :D
I'd make my own but anything I make is a no-no for my DM, he wants me to find something made by someone else.

I'd make one of my own but I can't without any time.

For laughs and giggles, you could check out my Bricoleur. http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=824614

I'm open for any other suggestions, but the WillShaper so far is good.

The "easiest" way would be to tie the amount of spell levels he can cast to either his Constitution score or his spellcaster level. Once he reaches this limit, the caster is Fatigued; this fatigue cannot be removed by magical means. If he casts one more time, he is exhausted. After that, each spell causes a Fortitude save (DC = To the spells save). If failed, the caster is reduced to 0 HP and is dieing.

hmmm....I'll need to think on this some. :plotting:
