--Black Mage Ideal of creation and destruction

Destructions has always been a path to emlightenment removing an obsticle through power. A black mage meraly uses what they have to produce that power breaking down the bonds of matter to release its potential energy. They do not thrive on destructions as some believe, prefering to use items of their own creation. Black mages often craft their own items so they have a better understanding of how to destroy, by knowing how something was created. In that knowledge of creation they further their ability to destroy.

Personality: Most black mages are not concerned about the difference between good or evil they see things as a cycle of both good and evil creation and destruction, neither ceasing nor ending both existing and shaping the univers. They often prefer their issolation after they train reflecting and practicing what they have learned. Most black mages tend towards lawful due to the fine nature of exchange of matter for energy, they prefer to keep things equal. Chaotic black mages are also possible as they also observe the exchange but they will not always use motteration in their path. In some cases the use of destruction is considered an art form to the destroyer, percision and finess are often two things that a black mage will use. Taking up the role as a blaster they often they want to make sure that they destroy only what is nessaccary.

Role in society: Black mages are more regarded as destroyers, often most creatures will not accept a black mage due to the use of their destruction on both living and non-living things. Most creatures do not like the pathy of destrution that the black mage walks, often creatures prefer to kill them or avoid them.

Becomeing a Black Mage: Inorder to start down the path of destruction they, must first learn from another Black Mage how to create and to destroy. Often Black mages craft their own weapons items or armor prefering to trust in their own works rather than buying from outside sources. They must spend a two weeks reading from a book of crafting, after which they spend another month that they must craft several items from their knowledge of the creation they must destroy theses items.

Comments, Questions, ideas, help is appreciated, if you know of a PRC close to this can you post a link.

I've also seen someone post a class inspired off of Fullmetal alchemist. Looking at it this class would be in similar values to it.

Warmage, CAr
pretty much covers the "things go BOOM!" specialist.

The Artificer, ECS
covers the magic skillmonkey/item maker your looking for, and can make things go boom with a couple decent wands.

Well i looked it over the warmage and the artificer, both have some semblance, but neither seems to stand where i want to. the Alchemist class that i have seen (bassed off of FullMetal Alchemist) is more in closer relation ship to Black mage, though Black mage is more unmaking than changing.

Im thinking about making black mage a Presteige class rather than a main class. Thanks for the info I might use Ideas from both artificer and Warmage.
sorry if i sound a bit picky but im partialy making classes to use in a campaign I want to hold.

I'm curious as to why a nomral wizard or sorcerer couldn't fill the role. Maybe an evoker would work. I'm not saying the idea is bad, but I wonder if you really need a new class to do this.
