| Hexidecimal05-28-07, 04:15 PM | I searched on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Prestige_Classes ..and I could not find anything on the Acrobat prestige class. The reason I'm interested in this is because I wish to make a very agile and strong fighter/rogue type of character and this would be the best prestige class to work for. But, I can't find it. I guess it's because people don't think acrobats are too much of a foe. But imagine getting into a fight and having the acrobat dodge everyone of your attacks, and then suddenly they leap up grab onto the ledge of a building flip around and kick you right in the face, then using their arms hop to a higher level of a close by building, and tight rope walk across to a taller building, and make their escape. I think that would be some cool stuff. Anyway, if anyone has any info.... hell, even if it's not made yet, if you got some good recommendations, throw them at me. |
| The_Shaman05-28-07, 04:19 PM | Er, why not start with the Thief-Acrobat PrC from Complete Adventurer? From then on, I could imagine Dervish (Cwarrior), Blade Dancer (OA), or another PrC that can give you a nice skill-related boost (exemplar, ninja spy, that kind of thing) |
| Hexidecimal05-28-07, 04:38 PM | Hey thanks for the help. I did look at the thief-acrobat, but it's only listed as a 5 level prestige class...from the information I found. But, I did find this, http://www.community3e.com/dn/class/TheAcrobat.pdf Just after I posted my last post. But, the only confusing thing about that prestige class is the True Mirages ability. I've either ignored it, or was completely ignorant about it, but I don't know what Minor Image is. I'd do some research, but I have to log off for work now. So thank you to anyone who helps me. edit: I just noticed, but was that last link even a prestige class? It's read like a normal class. |
| The_Shaman05-28-07, 04:44 PM | Just to add, the ToB classes can have a sort of acrobatic feel to them... The wuxia "grafity is for noobs" kind of acrobatics, but still ;) |
| KieKeN05-28-07, 04:47 PM | If your looking for the Thief-Acrobat from Complete Adventurer, it's in this (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20041210b&page=3) preview. |
