Malconvoker or Demonologist [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-07, 10:51 PM Whats better or what are the pros an cons of these two classes...I don't know which I want to be when I make a new character. Malconvoker tricks demons into staying around longer? Demonologist summons more powerful demons?
Please help me out thanks.

11-03-07, 08:25 AM I like Malconvoker. Demonologist gives up the bulk of his spellcasting to make summon spells into higher levels, Malconvoker actually gets the higher levels, and all the other arcane spells that come with it. Also, to me the key thing about the Malconvoker isn't that the summons stay around longer, it's that they come out with an extra copy of what you summon.

11-03-07, 01:23 PM I like malconvoker better as well, as you can't rely solely on summoning and Demonologist cramps your flexibility.
