A little challenge for anyone who feels up to it...

I was looking at the Marshal class and trying to figure out how it would work in my Homebrew...

the warriors are your common grunts, your "enlisted" men
the fighters are trained at special academies, your "officers"

now comes along the marshal, who would also be considered an "officer"...so, it would make sense to me that the marshal is a fighter who has gone back to the academy for more "specialized" prestige training.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make the Marshal into a 5 or 10 level prestige class?

BAB requirement, Diplomacy and/or Intimidate requirement, minimum Int and Cha scores. Maybe Leadership as a required feat. Academy training as a special requirement.

Looking at it quickly I'd do 5 levels, with the advancement like this:

1 Minor Auras
2 Major Aura +1
3 Grant Move 1/day
4 Major Aura +2
5 Grant Move 2/day

The major and minor auras would be gained as normal for a marshal moving from 1st to 5th level. I probably wouldn't require Leadership, though Skill Focus(Diplomacy) would be good, it's already mentioned in the class, and maybe either Battlefield Inspiration or Daunting Presence as a Charisma requirement instead of having actual stat requirements. The academy training is cool, Dead-Weasel, or you could just having a BAB requirement representing the same thing.
