Hey, my friend and I have been having this argument for a few weeks now, and I was wondering if anyone has found this.

Does the Master of Masks seem overpowered to anyone? it doesn't seem particularly overpowered to me, but he claims that it's horribly overpowered.

Thoughts? Fixes?

The only reason it is worth anything is the Gladiator mask. Everything else is complete crap, like most PrCs WotC puts out for us.

Sorry for my complete lack of knowledge on this subject. Only been playing D&D for a couple months

Master of Masks is from CScoudrel. The class is underpowered. As sin said above the only thing realy worthwhile is the gladiator mask. Their skill list is small and pretty useless, it has bad HD, BaB, and spell casting proggression.

The class is pretty terrible in terms of game statistics, but I have seen a few people play it and have a LOT of fun with it. The class is very cool and has a lot of flavor.

It really depends what kind of d&d you're into. If you're into power gaming, don't be a master of masks (because it is super underpowered). If you're into gaming for the RP aspect, it's a good class with a lot of fun stuff that you can do.

(Just a note--I'm not saying that the two are exclusive of each other but I think you know where you fall...)

Also--it's better than taking more Bard if that's how you qualified for it...

don't diss the bard.

Bard's are awesome... if you know how to play them!
